boys bowling. that may not sound like a lot of fun to some people, but we think it is and we have a pretty good time at it. i must admit that i stink at bowling. even with bumpers. yes, i use bumpers...no shame in the bumpers! at least that lets me knock a couple pins down from time to time. i have to say that today i was quite distracted by the videos playing on the tv's up by the scoreboard thingies. all the preteen girlie music was on, like high school musical and high school musical 2, so i was too busy singing to concentrate on bowling. anyway, the boys bowled great, 
greg tore us all up with 
all his strikes and we had a good time! they have a deal there that buys you 2 hours of bowling (3 games for us), a pizza and 2 pitchers of pop. plus greg bought a vat of popcorn so the creasy boys were in hog heaven. tonight we're keeping our tradition of pj's, warm blankets and movie watching. we'll flip over to some network in time to see the ball drop and usher in 2008. can you believe that? 2008? doesn't seem that long ago we were trying to use up all the stuff i hoarded "just in case" for Y2K.
my wintery snowflake socks do NOT go with those bowling shoes. but then what does?
