this that and the other thing

this will likely be another bits and pieces kind of blog. we've been doing just our regular kinds of things, only with the added in factors of greg's trip to russia and my current bout with respiratory crud. greg left wednesday morning for moscow. of course he didn't get there til thursday morning with the whole time difference thing. wednesday night i started with a nice barking cough and went steadily downhill from there. (obviously i'm on the upswing at this point or i wouldn't be writing this.) greg is home now, but the story of that adventure is a blog all its own and he should do it - like that'll happen! with all my meds and the blurriness of the weekend just past, i think i might just plunk some pictures down in this thing and say i blogged. sounds like a plan to me. but i can't end without thanking my friends and my brother for all of their offers to help me over the weekend. you guys are the best!

greg and the boys before he left wednesday.

a valentine box for school and a basketball game or two.

my boys hovered a bit, seeing if there was anything they could do to help. this is the view they had of their mom most of the weekend, whenever i wasn't forced to get real clothes on and go out in public. i thought they looked pretty cute from my pillow vantage point so i had them pose for me.

blake was a BIG help. chief cook and bottle washer, and a car washer too.

when your type-A dad's on the other side of the planet you can do stuff like write on the kitchen window when it's steamed up. cause you know all your type anti-A (and quite medicated) mom will do is take a picture of it and post it on the internet.

I love that you let the boys write on the walls, mirrors and anywhere they want...Love that! Glad to hear that you are on the road to good health. I was wondering where you were!
