easter sunday...i know i'm still behind.

ok so we're supposed to keep Christmas in our hearts all year long, so at the very least i should be able to keep Easter for a week and a half - that's how far behind i am in my blogging. that morning started early for greg because he had to get out about 5 a.m. to go pick up luke at school when he got home from his D.C. trip. luke came home and took a little nap, then everyone was up getting ready for church so he couldn't really sleep much more. besides, the easter bunny had made a visit so of course he had to get up. easter basketing gets a little more subdued every year...but it'll keep on happening. i know this picture is extremely blurry - i can't seem to consistently get good ones of activities in the front of the sanctuary from wherever it is i'm sitting. but i can't not put this one in here. i love seeing blake and greg next to each other in the choir. blake was in the bell choir that morning too but he stands right next to kathy and she wouldn't give the stamp of approval to any of those pictures. we ate dinner with mom and dad, which was our usual easter menu and our usual good time with them. luke even branched out and tried a deviled egg, which he pronounced "pretty good". just a few of us like them. there was a time in my life when i couldn't eat them at all because my dad would say stuff like "pass the little chickies". now he just calls them cackleberries. i can deal with that. blake washed the dishes - just all of a sudden there he was with his hands in the dishwater! good boy...with easter came the passing of lent, and with that came max's first can of pop in 40 days. he enjoyed his root beer immensely! about as much as blake enjoyed that first video game!

I think this might be the first year that the EB didn't leave baskets for the big kids...Emmy mostly was distraught about it. Sometimens she can be such a baby!

Question...Does Greg always look like he is praying? He is such a Godly kind of man. Love seeing the boys with your Mom and Dad. I sure miss them.
