we gathered with my family on friday and saturday to be with megan as she married jon and became mrs. grim. she is the first of my nieces and nephews to marry, and i have to say that the whole experience has been (and sort of still is) pretty surreal. i don't know if that's a universal feeling or not. maybe it has something to do with sitting in the hospital waiting room for what seemed like forever while susan was giving birth to her. or with having been around for her very first hours of life and watching her grow up. maybe it will be the same as each of them eventually become brides and grooms. time will tell..
i love to be with my family. we stayed in the same hotel as mom and dad and scott and his family so we got some great time with them that we never seem to get. (that is a ridiculous statement..we live 10 minutes from each other!) even though the focus was (of course) megan's wedding, it was so wonderful to have some face to face time with my brother max too. i love my family. i am so blessed by God to have the people i have.

I am loving the pitrures of the wedding. I am so glad tht you took so many...more, more, more. Everyone looks great! All the kids are so big. It tok me a minute for figure them all out. And Leigh Ann you have such a sweet heartfelt was of talking about your family. You can tell that they are the most important thing to you.
okay....it is uncanny how much some of them look like others. That picture of your brother max and your mom is crazy and scott and michelle's son looks exactly like audi perry!!
Glad to see that Max Sr. is still the best looking Blake man!!! Of course he doesn't have much competition.

I agree with mother and sister but oh oh oh my my my those pictures of you dad helping the boys tie their ties I was sobbing! I just love that man he makes me laugh just thinking about him! those are some GREAT photos keepers FOREVER!
