happy birthday. again. last time this year. seriously.

more birthday cake for max! we had the last of his seemingly endless celebrations this week. he knew he already has all the gifts/cash he's getting, but he wanted to have his family in his house for cake (he chose carrot) and ice cream so we did. uncle dale said he knew what max was up to - figured he was hoping people might forget they'd already done the gifting thing and bring another. of course he was kidding...max does love his family. poppy did offer to give him some more birthday spankins but max declined. i have more pictures than this - ones of everyone there. but it seems i snapped the pictures just as folks were taking big bites of cake. so in the interest of family harmony (retaliation?), i'll skip 'em.
