last game of fall ball

tonight was max's last game for this fall. i'm sure we'll be back at it next year. he absolutely loves playing and has had a blast! he's even ended up kind of liking to pitch. his mom doesn't like it so much (makes me nervous) but he's ok with it. he pitched some strikes and he and alex, who was playing catcher at the time, got a runner out at home. great play! max got a couple good hits, too, which he's convinced is because he took his own bats tonight so he had "a little bit of home" with him, as he said. it's been a great experience for him. and i've enjoyed the time to sit and watch him do it.
