a day of luke's dreams

luke creasy and his NFL. he's been talking forever about going to a game. he wants to go to philly and see his team play at home, but that's not happening at this point. someday, right lara? anyway, they played the bengals today in cincinnati, so he and greg made plans to go. he even saved up money for a ticket on his own, but ended up not needing it for that because bubba (mark ellis) came up with some tickets for them and joined them at the game. bryce was supposed to go to, but i'm not sure if he did, i forgot to ask. (they're still gone, game's just been over for a little bit.) they got all layered up, luke in all his eagles garb. by this morning, he was just about to jump out of his skin. i know just how wacko he probably was by the time they got to the stadium. and i could just imagine him at all points during the game. they had great seats, only 14 rows back from the field. (thanks bubba!!) i am SO excited that he got to go to a pro football game period. and for it to be HIS team makes it just the best. and i'm glad he got to go with his dad, no brothers along. what memories for them both!! blake, max and i had a memorable afternoon ourselves, watching the game on tv and rooting for those eagles (they NEVER do that when luke's home) and giggling with each other when we'd think about how luke must be reacting to things we'd see. he just tickles us all to death. drives us crazy sometimes but we would NOT know what to do without that boy. and the way his brothers have thought about him and spoken of him today, i know it's true for them. makes my heart so happy! i'm sure i'll have more pictures to add, but for now i'm posting the ones they texted me today. the game ended in a tie after overtime. first NFL game to tie since 2002. can't wait to hear it all from luke...the way he tells stories it'll take a loooooooooong time. =)

I had too much fun. I think Luke is alot like his Pappy! Spent the entire 4th quarter in a TEE SHIRT and took a ton of ribbing from me but in the end he gives as good as he gets. Too many Eagles fans sitting around us to help him give it back to me. So in closing Who Dey think gonna beat dem Bengals? Well not dem Eagles!!!!
