tuesday was a good day. it was really busy but i enjoyed it! sarah beth and i had made a date to have lunch and do some yarn shopping. she wanted more boggins in some winter colors, so of course i'm doing that. she picked out her colors...black, gray, deep red, and beige for winter, as well as white and pink to replace some boggins that have worn out because she's been using them since 2005. they've done their duty! (i'm so pleased that they've lasted so long and done so well through washings.) we went to o'charley's for lunch and found an empty parking lot. thought maybe they were closed, but nope. we just happened to be the very first customers. we figured that just meant we got the first hot rolls out of the oven! it had been awhile since we'd had time for just the 2 of us. it was SO good to be together. i love that sweet girl so much.
blake's collegium musicum group sold fruit as a fundraiser for their spring break trip to NY. tuesday was fruit delivery day.

blake sold a LOT of fruit. not sure what some of our friends bought online, but we had $1100 worth to deliver. i took luke and max with me to pick up blake and all our fruit. we had to put the back seat down and pack it all in up to the top. we delivered some on the way home then went to pick up greg. we divided and conquered - i took blake, greg took luke and max - and we were all delivered, fed those hardworking boys at kfc, and home by 9. it was a little crazy but so fun. i know i had fun with blake, even though he commented on my driving quite a bit. something about his phone flying back into the back seat during "mom's take-offs". whatever. =)
