After a long week's waiting, our big boys finally made it home from scout camp! YAY!!! We were very ready to have them home and have our family all together. They both had a great time - not sure if I can get them to tell any stories on here, but they did have fun. They came home with loads and loads of dirty laundry. They know that even if they didn't wear it/use it, if it went to camp, it's automatically dirty.

But I think they used it all. Too bad you can't smell a blog entry. This was quite an experience for the nostrils. After they got camp showered off of them, things got back to the usual. Blake sat down with a book, happy to be sitting on something soft. Luke and Max played some chess. It all looks really peaceful, doesn't it?

Once they got used to being around each other again, things really got back to normal, though. Too much testosterone in one place to have things go too smoothly. We did manage to spend a very relaxed, do-nothing kind of evening together though. Yesterday was Sunday, which is always a really busy day for us. In addition to our usual full day, we went with friends to see an outdoor performance of "Oklahoma". My boys were glad to go but also

dreading it a little because they knew I'd be singing along with every song. (That's the musical we did my senior year in high school, so i was really looking forward to it!) I did them a favor and sang quietly though. Laura sang too so it wasn't just me. And there were a couple of our other high school friends there, so of course they were singing too. How could we not? Besides, I'm not sure the boys mind it as much as they put on. Can I help it I know too many obsolete songs? They enjoyed it, I think. I know for a fact they enjoyed all the snacks and drinks we took.

Along with everything Laura and Kathy and Nathan brought. We could've fed everyone around us with what we all packed. And still we ended up buying the boys corn dogs and cotton candy. Miss Laura had a corn dog too. Something about that fried food aroma and being outside. Can't help yourself.
