back at the beach

I'm on dialup this week - back at the beach visiting my mom and dad - so I'm not sure how long it will take to make an entry on this blog. I'll try this time and if it takes as long as I think it might, I'll update again when I get home! We were just here a few weeks ago, but after that time with my mom and dad and the little bit of time I got with my grandmother, I really wanted more of it. Greg has been great about it, knowing how precious family time is, and encouraged us to come back down. So the boys and I made the trip ourselves yesterday. They were AMAZING! No fights, no bickering, no testosterone flare-ups, just a good day together. We were all pretty tired when we got here last night and I was kind of counting down the hours to bedtime. This morning we got up bright and early and in spite of the weather radar and what the sky looked like toward the ocean, we got ready and went on over to the beach. It was dark all around us but overhead was just a bunch of puffy gray clouds with occasional sun. (No thunder, which was a beautiful thing, considering our last beach/thunderstorm experience!) Kind of a perfect day to be able to watch the ocean without squinting. We stayed over there for a few hours, then came home for lunch and then headed for the pool. Mom, Luke and I went for some groceries and picked up pizzas for supper and now we're just hanging around. Max is getting ready to fish a little. No pictures of that yet, since it's not really gotten started. But there will be. So I'm going to take my coffee outside and watch my boy fish. So if I don't get to update anymore while I'm here, this entry contains most of what we will be involved in the whole time we're here. Coffee, breakfast, beach, lunch, pool, supper, talk talk talk, occasional fishing tournament, repeat. Pretty sweet routine!

Time with family is so precious...coming from one who realizes that every minute of every day. I know tht your Mom and Dad love having you all there too. Give them a hug from me and a tweek on you Dad's cheek. My Dad, Bryce and Robin's son ( ALL THE BOYS IN THE FAMILY) are in Canada fishing...I'm still waiting on fishing pictures from them also.
