take your dad to camp day

More cub scout fun today! Same activities, only today was really special because Max took his Dad along. It wasn't an official take your dad day, but it was a big deal for him. Greg was able to spend the whole day at the camp with Max, and they both really enjoyed it. Max got more bulls-eyes in archery, made a hat, swam, and got to sit behind the wheel of a race car. Kind of a dream week for a little guy, isn't it? And Greg caught a fish. (Sorry, no photo evidence!) When I went to pick them up, both of them were pretty dirty and hot and worn out. So of course we were on to the best part of the whole deal (for Max) which was spending money at the trading post. Slushies all around! Skipped the small today and went for the large. I loved Max's red slushie lips, so I talked him into letting me take this one. I don't think he was remembering this blog at the time or he'd never have done it.
