Yesterday Max's favorite thing at camp was BB gun shooting - left the slingshot behind and moved on to better (?) things. He was very good at it apparently and got a few bulls-eyes on his target paper. All he wanted was to get a high enough score to mail it in for a badge (which he did) and today he left that all behind for archery. Why practice and get even better at something when you already earned enough for the prize? Not sure about that way of thinking, but oh well. He got some bulls-eyes in archery too,

so it's hard to tell what he'll ditch that for tomorrow, since he's an "expert" already. Here's a cute one of him and some of the boys from his den saluting our flag during the flag lowering ceremony.
We're still really missing the big brothers. They get home Saturday, and we can't wait! At least Greg and I can't. Max says he doesn't miss them yet. (Oh but he really does...) Blake took his camera so hopefully he'll have some pictures and camp stories to share.

ahh c'mon get that kid a bb gun! every little boy needs one. My 3 brothers all had one growing up and we all still have our eyeballs.
now that would be a duel!! forget the sticks boys, i can't wait to see the pictures of BB duel. just don't let them talk to Jeremy, Bryce, and Mark then you would never know what could be next.
I'm with the little lady above! Look out and keep your eyes on the guns. Looks like great fun for sure.
