so since yesterday was my birthday i'm 43 now. (that number doesn't even look right.) i didn't have to work so i had a girls' morning out with kathy. all of our responsible friends were working, so it was just us. of course we started out at starbucks. (really expecting something different?) i had a birthday venti and she had a beauteous hot chocolate in a real mug that she was kind of excited about. we took pictures...psycho bloggers that we are. we both had errands to run at target and ended up acting like 3rd graders in between mom/family related duties. we just acted silly but it was pretty fun! i got the traditional call from my dad with his gloom and doom birthday song. it just wouldn't be a birthday without that! mom and dad stopped by in the afternoon and we got to visit a little bit. i was sure to say happy birthday to them, too. then, in the evening there was a big ol' brownie with some candles and a little celebration with my creasy men. that's a good day.

Oh Happy Day! I just realized that when my birthday rolls around I will be exactly 10 years older that you. But the only kink is that we have a 6 year old. How does that make you feel? You look like you had a great day! Nice to have a fun friend to spend it with. I can feel the love!
ya know? Sometimes I just am lame, that's all lame in the memory department. How many times have we conversed in the past 72h and never once did I stop to wish you a Happy Day. Well, just so the fun goes on and on, happy birthday 2 days late. I love you, friend.
