this and that

another week over. this passing-of-time thing makes my head spin sometimes. and the older i get the faster it goes. i remember hearing old people say that when i was little. guess what that makes me?

i got some more just me and sarah beth time this week, although brief. i got to take her to a radiation appointment - one of the getting ready for it ones, so we got to be together a little bit. she was not feeling well at all that day and once we got back home she spent some time on the couch under a blankie sleeping. (or "watching the news" as she called it.) she continues to struggle with what she wants to do vs what she's able to. she is a whirlwind trapped in a body that's not letting her live life on the planet as she would love to. and her heart stays true to the Lord. please continue to pray for her. she was so very asleep on the couch that she didn't even hear kathy breeze in in true kathy style (loud)...(right kathy?)...we had some yearbook work to do. time to get all the orders and payments in order and tally it all up. the yearbooks are $17. some people paid $17.50. some paid $18. some bought 2 and paid $36. i do not understand. some of the communication from parents was also pretty interesting. my favorite was the one that sent in their order along with the letter kathy had sent home with the kids. the letter was highlighted in it's entirety, with "important" parts circled in ink. i'm thinking that's what the highlighter is for? anyway, we worked and worked and got done what we could, knowing that there would still be more orders coming in. because it was only 2 weeks or so after the deadline. so of course there would be more orders, right? one of my favorite pictures of the day was kathy's lunch. and command central. max and alyson got home from school and had to entertain each other while we were finishing up. max likes being around alyson, even if she is an icky girl. she hung onto him by his shirt for much of the time. not sure why he wore her coat, or why he didn't whine about me taking a picture. could've been the sugar rush from the brownies they had for a snack. notice aly needed a napkin for her brownie, so she just decided to use them all.
