wow i'm so far behind...

if i would just sit down when things happen and write about it then things wouldn't get so far past me. maybe. but sometimes i just don't have a chance to blog about things because life keeps happening. anyway, i'll do my best here. it's almost the end of march, which is hard to believe. time does fly by. anyway, march brings march madness, so there's been a lot of basketball talk around here. all the males are carrying around their brackets and marking things off and counting points and stuff like that. i don't know what any of it means, nor do i care. but it is fun to watch them get all worked up. and watching basketball games on tv is a good excuse for me to spend quality time with my family. of course i don't watch for long because my version of sports-watching typically involves a blanket and the couch and a good amount of dozing off. and when there's not basketball going on inside, there's basketball going on outside.

let's see....luke went to D.C. again, this time on his 8th grade trip with school people. that's another blog for another day - he's in charge of that one! oh, and here's a big surprise...i spent some time at starbucks with kathy and kim!

the biggest thing this past week was Easter, of course. celebrating the resurrection of Jesus! it came way too early for me this year, but i'm not in charge of calendar making so we went with it. max's Easter party at school was friday. it really was fun. the kids hunted Easter eggs - didn't have to look to hard since there are only maybe 4 bushes and 2 trees in the yard where they were. we basically just flung them anywhere and everywhere when we were "hiding" them. after they found all their eggs we went back inside for their party. they colored eggs, played some games, decorated cupcakes, and were serenaded by max. he and his teacher have been trying to arrange a time for him to bring his guitar to school and play for them. this was the day. he's doing really really well, and they were all pretty impressed. this one little boy cracked me up. it was like max was a rock star or something. hilarious.

ok that's all i can manage for tonight...more on Easter comin' up soon.

You crack me up! I still the the Cresay Family should go on the road. I'd pay for a ticket but would need a backstage pass....remembering Stephen Curtis Chapman concert. :)
