just a little dopey

max's spring program, "an evening with disney", was tuesday. there was a performance for the students in the afternoon and one for the parents/families in the evening. it was really cute! the kids did a great job, even though it was about 300 degrees in the gym with humidity just as high. i'd been freezing all day though, so i was pretty cozy. but the kids, under those spotlights and in all their disney duds, were kind of roasting. fortunately for them (and us) this was probably the quickest school program we'd ever been to in our lives. max's friend alex had told his dad that it was "only 17 minutes long!" but we didn't really believe him. i'm thinking he was right though, because it started a little after 6:30 and we were home before 7:15...nice! the songs flew by. max and the other 6 dwarf-types were featured in 2 songs, "heigh ho" and "whistle while you work". max even got to (had to?) dance with snow white. blake took a little video of those songs. don't blink, it goes pretty quick. max is easy to find though. just follow his ears.
