guess what. time has gotten away from me. imagine that. i told jan i thought i might have to resort to just a giant slideshow. there is, of course, a lot of repetition going on in this time away we're having. but i have a hard time leaving things out because if i don't document it for myself somehow, i'll never remember it. we've had lots of family time and friend time and beach time. i'm sleepy. and everyone's coming over for supper in a few minutes so here are some high points..
we've been bombarded several times by seagulls. the boys think it's hilarious to have them swarming all around us staring at us wanting our crackers. or my cap'n crunch. or whatever they can get their little beaks on.

this is "the hover". it's the move blake gives me when he's ready to leave the beach and i'm not. he hovers over me and stands between me and the sun. it's his big signal. i rarely pay attention to it.

my cousin bob and his wife margie and their daughter elizabeth and nieces emily and caroline came back down for a few days. elizabeth had been on a mission trip with her youth group and as the week was winding down she had an issue while swinging and broke both of her wrists. BOTH. geez. here she is, beautiful and disabled.

my boys really do love each other. most of the time.

the clouds were doing some great stuff the other day. wish i could show it in 3D.
this is a goodie bag our friends the gaunches sent to us by way of bob and kim. it was full of some of our favorite things on the planet. johnna's great at being thoughtful..thanks guys.
