more catchin' up on beach fun

our warnocks came on saturday morning and we hung around mom and dad's condo and played in the pool, stuff like that. my cousin bob and the girls came down to the pool and the smiths came to play too. for the first time in my 10 years of coming to this place, someone called the law on us. warnock influence, no doubt...seems an owner called the sunset beach police because he thought we were just some people who drove by and thought "YAY! a pool!" i guess we were having too much fun? the police guy was a good ol' boy. we assured him we were allowed to be there. he said "you all say you belong here, that's fine with me!" and he left. so we were good. kim and i went to the store to pick up a few things, the creasys got packed up and we moved on over to the house we'd rented with the warnocks on the island. we've never stayed on the island before because we always always stay with my mom and dad. i told my parents i knew i'd have a good time but it was going to be really weird without them...and i was right! it is pretty nice to be over here and walk over to the beach whenever we feel like it, and to be with friends from home. but i do miss being with mom and dad. (my dad would say "cut the cord, leigh ann.") anyway, we are really enjoying this time. and we like this house (hush puppy place) a lot. our boys are liking being able to come and go from the beach pretty much when they want. a little freedom for them. too many pictures for me to choose from so it's slide show time. these are from our first day or so here. pool time and an evening beach walk.
