rainy beach day

we had one day of rain. and it was an ALL day steady type of rain. it had already rained all night..i didn't mind so much (i love rain) but what stunk about it was that it was the last full day bob and kim and the girls had there. but even sunless, it ended up being a good day.

kim made sure we woke up to the smell of cinnamon. how bad can a day like that be?

my sleepy (lazy) boy was served breakfast in bed (including chocolate milk) by a sweet little girl.

we watched the olympics, played games, and worked a big kitty cat puzzle.

we escaped the house for lunch and introduced the warnocks to one of our very favorite eating spots. after that they got their callahan's initiation. we lost them in there but they resurfaced later on that afternoon.

late in the evening the rain stopped for a bit, enough to give us a little bit of blue sky and some sea turtle watching hopes for that night. sea turtle babies made no appearance but it was beautiful by the ocean.
