this is what was happening while the creasy was swiffering. i said to him "you must be a blake. sitting and watching while the creasy does the work."...greg said, " just dust around 'em!"...not always true, but true in this case anyway.
i don't know who this lady is but i want her job. she is down at the beach everyday with her chair and umbrella and book. oh wait a minute. that could describe me too! =)
the boys and i rented bikes the other day and spent some time riding around on the beach. hard work riding on sand, but wow it felt great! they rode on ahead of me so i had some time to myself to ride alone. this is the kindred spirit mailbox. people can write little notes to leave in there or just read what other folks have written. it's tucked up in the dunes.
i don't know what kind of seagull or other seabirdie this is but i like his orange beak and his hairdo. my dad says birds don't have hairdos. i beg to differ.
we noticed a message in a bottle! it looked perfect and brand new, so i didn't pick it up. it looked like outgoing mail, you know what i mean? if it'd had barnacles on it or looked in any way as though it had been out to sea, i'd have snatched it right up. after i took its picture some guy came and threw it in again.
blake picked a bike with a handy basket on it. it was pretty helpful when bringing lunch to our people on the beach!
