max is giving it another go. all i asked was that he not pick out a mean one or anything with red eyes. so this past week we welcomed teddy to our family...so far so good. he acts more like a hamster than his 3 predecessors. he actually runs and drinks water and poops and eats and tunnels and all that hammy-type stuff. and he's cute! we're hoping it's a very long time before rigor mortis and the subsequent aerial burial.

ohmygosh he IS cute! just like a lil teddy.
He is too cute. when we were little we had hamster after hamster. Come to think of it we had bird after bird too. All the hamsters were named Teddy. Teddy 1, Teddy 2, Teddy 3... and the birds, Petey 1, Petey 2... You get the idea we were really inventive kids. Thank goodness Cassie did not stick with that when naming her kids Ellis 1, Ellis 2. Well but we still need to watch Bryce, seems like something he would do!
