take me out to the ballgame

we have boys that love to play sports, especially luke and max. what they'd love to play is football. (ain't happenin.) next choice is baseball. but they've settled for soccer and ended up really liking it. and upward basketball too. it hasn't stopped them from begging, but they've been ok. we haven't done baseball because of the time it takes in the spring and summer that with our church schedule and everything else our boys are into, we just don't have. max has been begging begging begging for a few months now to play "fall ball". our friend rob told us that it was pretty laid back and instructional. and it only lasts a few weeks. we decided to let him do it, and he's just been beside himself. as much as he begged, he's thanked us just as much. he is having a blast. and it's a blast watching him have a blast.
