more baseball

max's next-to-last baseball game for this fall was yesterday. the smith crew made it out to the ballfield to watch him play. he did great! got his best hit ever, really heard that bat make contact. later he said, "it went all the way to the outfield!" he got hits both times he was at bat, so he was happy. andrew's decided he likes baseball the best now and begged kathy most of the time they were there to stop somewhere on the way home so he could get a ball and one of those metal bats. aly liked it for a few minutes then i think she was done with it. she spent most of her time loving on (torturing, in luke's case) blake and luke. our boys got to drop some cash at the concession stand, so everybody was happy.
