happy happy x 3

october and november bring lots of birthdays in our family. we had our usual little family gathering for blake's birthday. we ended up with 2 cakes, just because i felt like it. but it turned out that we needed both because we decided to keep singing - we sang happy birthday 3 different times. good thing i keep all those number candles in my pantry stash. i was missing a 9 so i had to turn a 6 upside down, which left no candle wick to light. that's ok, one less for the old man to blow out.
