greg and i went with nathan and kathy to see "fireproof"...everyone should see that movie. of course that's just my opinion..my dad has a little thing he says about opinions, but i won't put it on here. =) anyway, the movie was very good. and so was the time with our friends. after the movie we walked on over to starbucks (how could we not?)

even though i'm not sure nate really wanted to. he's never had anything from starbucks. (i do know that he set foot in one once, but i think it was just to see if kathy, kim and i were really where we said we were and to see what we did when we were there.) he's also apparently not a "hot drink" person. so there he was, in starbucks actually standing at the counter ordering a hot drink. a venti, no less. good boy for trying new things. =)

the extra drink on our table was my freebie since they made the wrong size for me. they just gave me both of them. spiced apple cider, which i love, but which kathy proclaimed (loudly) tasted like cat pee.
our boys were given the privilege of staying home on their own that evening. we had to stop at kroger on the way

home for chips for a church lunch the next day, so we were a few minutes later than we said we'd be. this is a sample of the three faces that greeted us at the door, along with lots of "WHERE have you been?" and "you're LATE!" i say that's a good reference point for greg and i to point back to someday when they pull the same stunt.
