november 4th i did what (hopefully) most americans did unless they did it early. I VOTED. greg voted early, but i didn't. i even went with him and hung around looking at birth records while he voted but didn't do it myself.
not sure why, although i really do just like to feel like i'm doing that with the rest of my country. or maybe i'm just stuck in tradition. most likely it's because i have a hard time waiting to KNOW. and if i'd voted early i'd have had to wait too long to find out the results. the boys were off school of course. they all usually go with me when i vote but this time max is the only one who cared to tag along. blake and luke slept through it.
we picked a good time to go, i was there/voted/got home in less than an hour. although max thought it took forever and for awhile was sorry he decided to go with me. one of the poll workers gave him a little box of candy so he was set. we did have to wait while they shut down the place so they could take a potty break. seems they all have to go at the same time to keep things legal. who knew? anyway...i love the whole process. it is so cool to be able to take my son(s) and talk about what we're doing. max stood with me while i voted, interjecting his opinion from time to time about who i should choose, even though i already had my plan in place. but even when things don't turn out like i'd hoped, i know how blessed we all are to be able to have a voice. even when someone else's voice speaks louder.

could be. max was all worried about it. i figure, my phone, my vote. i didn't hide!
im still wondering who cynthia and chuck were......for Prez......
