anyone who knows us, or knows our family, or has read this blog knows about our niece sarah beth and her battle with breast cancer. and a courageous and faith-filled battle it has been and continues to be. battle really is a good word for it - the cancer didn't go away after her surgery. her body has been invaded and tormented by this cancer. (does it seem to anyone else that cancer may just have a mind of its own?) she is facing it bravely. she's endured many treatments and tests and medications and procedures, with more coming her way. even though we, as her family, do not fight it physically, we are all facing it with her moment by moment because of our love for her. she is precious to us all. we pray for her continually, which is the best thing we can do - conversation with Almighty God, who is the only one able to make a change in her situation. but because we're human and feel like we must do something hands-on, we are proud owners of just about every item put out there with a pink ribbon on it. we race (or in our case, walk) for the cure with the komen people every may. my husband and sons don't think twice about wearing pink. (for young men, this is kind of huge.) i heard max say the other day "when i think of mom, i think of pink."....pink isn't even a color i'm normally fond of. we'd do anything for sarah beth. jerri black, a friend of our family, has ordered some pinkish/purplie bracelets for us to sell to help with the ever mounting costs of sarah beth's medical care.

Well written!
Hey do you care if I use parts or most of what you have written (you did a great job) to send out a bulletin on myspace?
