Kristi, Leigh Ann & I went to see Shawn at the funeral home for his Aunt that passed away. She raised him-she was like a Mother to him. We wanted him to know how much he was being prayed for during these hard times he's been through. Leigh Ann was the nurse that admitted his aunt the day she came in to the hospital but she didn't know that at the time...no coincidence there. In Sunday school I broke down and told my Sunday school class about Shawn, how he's been on my heart and all that he had been through.Last night I received a phone call that Shawn rededicated his life to Jesus Christ. I haven't talked to him about this yet but it was too awesome to hear those words! As I said in the last blog...God has his hands all over Shawn and all that surround him and pray for him.
Why would I be surprised I'm not sure but I guess I never expected to see it all play out in front of me like that...and to flow so beautifully. We underestimate and ignore God's everyday involvement in our lives. p.s. since I've talked about special busdriver Shawn so much I'll attach this picture from the Board of Education website where he received an honorary award for keeping kids safe from a potential hijacker.

its just an honor that GOd let us see it unfold and answer prayers too...just to hold all our hands all along the way of this...im sure he does it in many other of our little life situations too...we just don't always credit the one thats orchestrating!
