our friends dave and carla gave us a gift card from o'charley's, which is one of our very favorite restaurants in the world. seems she heard me say sometime during financial peace university that there wasn't money in the budget for lunches there. (i don't remember that.) anyway, they were very generous and gave us the gift card at Christmas time.
FINALLY we used it, and on a night when i did NOT feel like cooking for us and everyone felt like eating out anyway. and since it was a gift, it was dave ramsey approved, so why not?! and in addition to our yummy dinner, we got to wave across the way at some of our friends from church. and later on, we even got to visit a little with denise and matt. we appreciate every expression of love from our friends...red cups...gift cards...conversation...
